Parent Engagement Workshop Series Brochure
Parent engagement is one of the most important—and most challenging—parts of supporting youth success. Parents are balancing work, family responsibilities, stress, and often their own unhealed experiences. Traditional parent workshops often focus on compliance, information-sharing, or “what parents should do,” which can unintentionally create disengagement, guilt, or resistance.
We know this because we’ve seen it—and lived it.
That’s why Your Healthy Reality developed a parent engagement experience that meets parents where they are and supports who they are becoming.

THE 3-PART SERIES
Workshop 1: Discover Your Behavioral Blueprint
Parents gain insight into their behavioral tendencies and motivating drives—and how these influence family interactions, stress responses, and communication at home.
Workshop 2: Cultivating Mindfulness for Everyday Parenting
Parents learn practical techniques to stay present, regulate emotions, and respond with intention rather than reaction during daily challenges.
Workshop 3: Understanding Your Relationship Dynamics
Parents explore how their behavior and communication may be experienced by their children, strengthening empathy, connection, and trust.
Workshop 1: Discover Your Behavioral Blueprint
Understanding What Drives You & How It Shows Up at Home
This foundational workshop invites parents to step into self-discovery by exploring their behavioral tendencies and motivating drives—the internal patterns that influence how they think, react, communicate, and make decisions, especially under stress.
Using results from a behavioral assessment, parents gain clarity on what energizes them, what drains them, and how their natural responses show up in everyday family interactions. Through guided reflection, facilitated discussion, and journaling, parents examine how their strengths, blind spots, and stress responses shape family dynamics and impact their engagement with their children.
Rather than labeling behaviors as “good” or “bad,” this session creates a judgment-free space for parents to better understand themselves—supporting growth, awareness, and intentional presence at home.
Key Areas
Increased self-awareness through behavioral and motivational insights
Clarity on personal strengths, stress responses, and blind spots
Understanding how internal drivers shape parenting interactions
Key Outcomes
Parents gain clear insight into their behavioral and motivational patterns, strengthening self-awareness and personal clarity.
Greater understanding of strengths, stress responses, and blind spots helps parents recognize how they show up in everyday interactions.
This awareness builds a strong foundation for mindful, intentional engagement and healthier family relationships.
Workshop 2: Cultivating Mindfulness for Everyday Parenting
Staying Present, Grounded & Emotionally Regulated
This workshop supports parents in developing the ability to pause, ground themselves, and respond with intention—especially during moments of stress, overwhelm, or emotional activation.
Parents are introduced to practical, real-life mindfulness techniques that can be used in the middle of busy schedules, challenging conversations, and high-emotion moments at home. Rather than focusing on perfection, the session emphasizes awareness, self-compassion, and small shifts that create meaningful impact over time.
Using guided exercises and reflection prompts from the 30 Days to a New You coaching journal, parents practice recognizing emotional triggers, regulating stress responses, and creating space between reaction and response. This helps parents show up more calmly and consistently, strengthening both personal well-being and family relationships.
Key Areas
Tools to manage stress and emotional reactivity
Improved emotional regulation and presence
Daily reflection practices that reinforce intentional parenting
Key Outcomes
Parents gain practical tools to manage stress and emotional reactivity in real time, allowing them to pause and respond with intention.

Workshop 3: Understanding Your Relationship Dynamics
Aligning Intention with Impact
This culminating workshop invites parents to explore one of the most powerful—and often overlooked—elements of parenting: the gap between intention and impact.
Parents may have the best intentions—protecting, guiding, or preparing their children—yet still experience resistance, miscommunication, or emotional distance. This session helps parents understand how their behavioral style, communication patterns, and emotional presence may be experienced from their child’s perspective.
By connecting insights from the behavioral and motivational assessment with real-life relationship patterns, parents gain clarity on how their actions influence their child’s emotional development, sense of safety, and trust. Through guided reflection, discussion, and journaling, parents practice recognizing when intention and impact are misaligned and explore ways to adjust their approach without losing authenticity.
The focus is not on blame or behavior correction, but on building empathy, emotional safety, and stronger connection—supporting parents in showing up as the most supportive and emotionally attuned version of themselves.
Key Areas
Deeper awareness of parent-child relationship dynamics
Stronger empathy and communication
Increased alignment between intention and impact
Key Outcomes
Parents gain clarity on how their behaviors and communication are experienced by their children, helping them better align intention with impact.
Increased empathy and emotional attunement support calmer conversations, improved communication, and reduced conflict at home.
Families experience deeper, more supportive relationships built on understanding, trust, and emotional safety.
